Note: If you are running any server software
for example game servers on your PC, turning on the firewall may stop access
from the Internet to your PC. Your normal WEB and EMAIL access to the
Internet should not be affected.
Turning on the XP firewall
XP Dial-in clients:
Left mouse click on START at the bottom left.
Left mouse click on Control panel or settings then Control Panel.
Left mouse click on Network Connections or if you can't see that, left click
on Switch to classic View then Network Connections.
Right Click on Omninet Dial-in profile, then on Properties
at the bottom of the small popup menu.
Left mouse click on Advanced tab at the top.
Left click on the small box to the left of "Protect my computer
...."
Left click on OK at the bottom of that window
Close any window that's open.
Finish

Left click on OK at the bottom of that window
Close any window that's open.
Finish.
