Hobby Expo'

October 4th & 5th (Saturday & Sunday)

This year the Albany Model Railway Association  will host the 4th Hobby Expo to be held at the Centennial Oval Hall, Lockyer Avenue, Albany on the 4th and 5th of October 2008.

This event has proved to be very popular with many of Albany's population, drawing large crowds to see not only model railways in action but many other hobbies as well.

Some of the other interests supported by exhibitors are, Model Aero planes, Embroidery, Doll making, Teddy Bear making , Model rocketry, Quilting and Model Engineering.

Some local and Perth based commercial outlets will be at the 'Expo selling and promoting their wares to the public. 

Admission will be $5.00 per person and $2.00 for children under the age of 16.  Children under 5 will be admitted free.  There will be no concessions.

Albany Agricultural Show

Once again we will have our "Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends"  layout on show.  This is a interactive layout where the children can drive the trains.  This is always popular with the children.
