The minister's of the Free Reformed Churches are men who have studied God's Word for 7 years at Theological College. One such college is Hamilton Theological College . On completion of their studies they can be called to serve a congregation. The task of a minister can be viewed as a teaching and guiding role. It is a full time position and can be described as follows:

  1.  Proclaim the whole counsel of God to his congregation.

  2.  Administer the sacraments.

  3.  As pastor and teacher; call upon the Name of the Lord in public worship.

  4.  As minister, along with the elders as stewards of the house of God,  see to it that in the congregation all things are done in peace and good order.
