Topics and issues on the agenda, come forward via the local church. Issues are those which affect all churches within the Bond of Churches. Issues which may be discussed and decided upon include which Bible translation should be used. The decision and rulings of a Synod are not binding for each local church. It is upto the local church consistory whether or not they will enforce a ruling.
