Turn
your favourite
digital photographs into jigsaw puzzles which you can piece together on
your compuer screen!
Spoonbill Jigsaw 6.0 is a major upgrade to Spoonbill's previous
offering, Jigsaw 4.1. Jigsaw 5.0 was partially developed but never
released. The new features included in Jigsaw 5.0 have been carried
through to Jigsaw 6.0 and many additional features have been included
in this exciting new release.
Here is a list of the major improvements: |

- More
varied piece shapes for a more realistic jigsaw puzzle.
- There
are now 5 different piece sizes to choose from.
- You
can fit pieces together in groups anywhere inside or outside the puzzle
frame.
- You
can now resize the image prior to creating the jigsaw pieces.
- You
can now resize the box top window using its sizing border.
- The
Remove Transparency tool now works correctly and does not change your
original image on disk.
- New
tools to manipulate an image prior to using it to create your
jigsaw.
- Select
Area in combination with with Crop To Selection allows you to use only
a part of your image for the jigsaw.
- Rotate
Left
and Rotate Right allow you to rotate an incorrectly orientated image
into its correct orientation before using it to create your
jigsaw
puzzle.
- The
background
color can now be chosen from a color picker dialog to be any color you
choose.
- The
last
folder you loaded an image from, and the last folder you saved a jigsaw
to are remembered, making it easier to navigate to your favourite image
or saved jigsaw folder.
- A
new option
enables you to have a partially completed saved jigsaw automatically
deleted once you have completely solved it.
- A
new tool has
been provided which allows you to locate "lost" pieces.
- You
can now
have background music playing while you are solving your jigsaw. Use
the MIDI files provided, or provide your own MIDI music files.
- Another
new
option will display the name of the currently playing music file in the
title bar of the main window.
